We produce all standard types of packaging (flow pack, carry bag, vento bag, pillow bag, doypack, wrappers, top-seal, sachets, bags, etc.), but also provide customers with completely individual and original solutions - such as the innovative Bobasket® packaging or packaging with reinforced grip technology.
The priority in our work is to respect the environment and sustainability, to deliver consistently high quality and customer satisfaction. Based on these pillars, the three main SILBO packaging categories have been developed:
BIOSIL – is packaging derived from 100% renewable organic raw materials. This category includes compostable laminates made from alternative materials that decompose without negative environmental impact within several weeks. Here you will also find packaging made of paper, suitable for simplified recycling. BIOSIL stands for completely plastic-free and extremely environmentally friendly materials and technologies in flexible packaging.
MONOSIL – is a mono-material packaging that has been developed with the closed loop economy and the reduction of raw materials in mind. There are no joins of various types of plastics that could disrupt the recycling process in any way. MONOSIL packaging can be directly and completely recycled for reuse. Consumers do not need to separate individual layers or components when using this type of packaging.
MINISIL – is extremely lightweight packaging with a minimised plastic content. Where necessary, appropriate material combinations are used to ensure optimal barrier properties, freshness and food safety. In the foil, net and paper combinations used, we try to conserve as much natural raw material as possible.
It is the packaging, not the packaging machine, that defines the end result. Therefore, our solutions work with all vertical or horizontal packaging machines available on the market, regardless of their manufacturer.
SILBO's packaging design is each time a process of individual cooperation with the principal. By taking the time to listen to the customer's needs, both functional and marketing, to understand what the priorities are, and to understand the specifics of the brand and the technological requirements, we propose the best possible solution. We select the right raw materials, the optimum form and work out the technical details. We carry out machine tests and assist in implementation.
